Does my child need to be potty trained to attend Miss Merry Mac's?

  • Children under 3 1/2 years old are not required to be potty trained, but we encourage families to start potty training after their child's second birthday. We work with families and cater to the individual needs of each child. We will have a discussion with each family about the next steps moving forward when their child is ready to begin potty training.

  • *Children need to be fully potty trained in order to attend our Pre-K4 program. If your child is 4 and is not fully potty trained, they can still attend Miss Merry Mac's, however, they will be in our preschool program.*

How much time do you spend outside?

  • We try to go outside every day (depending on the weather). Each classroom has its own large playground that we utilize for a few hours each day. The older children in preschool, pre-k4, and school-age classrooms go on hikes as well. On nice days, we will eat our lunch and snack outside at the picnic tables.
